Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)

Widely used and appropriate for a range of applications from low-tech widgets to high-strength manufacturing tooling. InnovAdd has in-house capabilities to design components for any FDM process and print in Carbon fiber reinforced Onyx on Markforged hardware.

Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF)

With experience producing hardware on EOS, Velo-3D, Nikon SLM and Matsuura Lumex powder bed platforms, InnovAdd can assist your team with design-for-additive competency, process start-up, and production readiness.  If you're assessing if additive technology is appropriate for your business, we can help with that due-diligence and complete a full technology application assessment, including cost-benefit analysis as compared to traditional manufacturing methods.  - Just because it CAN be printed, doesn't mean it SHOULD be printed.

Directed Energy Deposition (DED) - a.k.a. Laser powder welding / cladding

A versatile process that enables production of complex shapes or features, although with less precision than powder bed platforms. DED can be applied in a CNC machine tool or as a robotic end-of-arm process.  Frequently used as a repair or dimensional restoration method for metal components, DED brings value to numerous industries.
